Renaissance of Interpretation
Currently the National Park Service has formed internal committees to evaluate existing technology, media, and how they may be used in the parks in the future. As part of this endeavor, Incredible Places has provided this platform to invite technology specialists, media producers, and interpretation enthusiast to tell us about your solutions and share ideas. We want to know what new cool stuff is out there, what you believe would benefit the National Parks, and your ideas for how we can educate people about our natural resources. The National Park Service current agenda is called the Renaissance of Interpretation and consists of five pillars. Two of them are using emerging technologies and working with partnerships. We invite you to submit your ideas, technology solutions, services, applications, media, and anything related you feel would make a great contribution to the National Park System interpretative process through exhibits, films, self guided tours, and all the educational material you see when you visit a park. This also includes solutions for handicapped and elderly who are not able move around like the general public.
